SUMMARY

Yin Todd and Yang Ai are childhood friends who woke up in the vibrant world of Misuteria together. However, they view this mystery as escapism from their bitter lives on Earth, leaving the two unaware of the darker stories that lie hidden, including secrets their new friends desperately try to hide behind their lies. Whether they benefit more from this world or find their desire to leave, chaos and their guilt-tainted 'friendship' may still lead the two towards more anguish and peril.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Hey, I'm Puppiii!
I created this webtoon when I was 12/13, with UN's very first debut coming out in October 23, 2018, before undergoing multiple remakes to the current version we know now!
This comic is currently 7 years old in total, and it has grown alongside me throughout highschool onwards. The development of this comic still means so much to me and I am trying my best to continue it, even with the now very slow updates! (Uni life and work gets to you at some point hehe).I used to have editors assisting me back in 2019-2021, but since then I have been running this comic entirely by myself. Thank you for reading, and those who have supported me for so many years!

WORLD - MISUTERIA

MISUTERIANATUHRU (Misuteria) is a world coincidentally similar to Earth in many ways, but smaller and ran by supernatural abilities rather than human manipulation. Humans mysteriously awoke in Misuteria 200 years ago due to a malfunction of Misuteria's 'Portal Gate', which they used to study planets similar to theirs and is essentially like their own 'spacecraft'- hence the similar architecture and society that becomes more apparent many years later. The gate was eventually repaired by a gem ran entirely by Mysterian power to permanently lock the gate from their most nearby Galaxy (the Milkyway) and Exoplanet (Earth), or any other nearby extraterrestrial worlds. Any humans leftover after the repair were killed, although rare, some may still be alive or preserved. On Earth during Misuteria's studies, its spacecraft was thought to be a moon. "Earth's second moon" was a common headline for multiple years, although Misuteria's spacecraft simply followed Earth's orbital path.Fast forward, the Portal Gate malfunctioned again, the 'lock' damaged by a child named Malloyd Emerald who craved its power, causing humans to wake up in Misuteria once again as supernatural fog began to engulf the Earth's surface, starting from Asia this time and spreading slowly towards the rest of the world. It's unknown why this phenomena occurs, but Mysterians theorise power in the spacecraft that observed the Earth and was a "portal link" from the Earth to Misuteria must've leaked and found its way onto the Earth's atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the only way to repair the gate and send humans back is to locate the lost shards scattered around Rikuforika after the gate crystal's destruction.

THE PORTAL GATE

The portal gate was built by Kinumorians, and its power is ran by a diverse range of Mysterians who volunteered to offer their power to science. The goal was to use this gate to "see" through their spacecrafts, using a portal-like mechanic to enter other worlds and observe its similarities to Misuteria. Currently, they have only focused their study on Earth as it's the closest known exoplanet.Mysterians were hungry for knowledge of what lies outside of their solar system, and they also wanted to expand their network by seeking inspiration from worlds similar to theirs. Earth was majorly involved in this process, where Mysterians copied their method of travel (trains), communication (phones, radios), and they are slowly implementing electricity usage for efficiency, rather than relying solely on Mysterian power. Mysterians even studied almost all of the Earth's language for potential communication if they ever meet, with some Mysterians enjoying the language so much to incorporate it into their own names and their offspring.

HUMAN VS MYSTERIAN WAR

Before humans first arrived, Mysterians 200 years ago had a hate-love for homo-sapiens; some were infatuated and needed to know everything about their life on Earth, while others hated how "alien-focused" Misuteria has become, and felt disconnected from their own culture/identity of what made Misuteria unique. They hated how Misuteria tried to copy others just for the sake of advancements. When humans first arrived, Mysterians offered hospitality, while others tried to get rid of them. As more humans woke in Misuteria and (usually unintentionally) brought their own items onto the planet, more Mysterians began interacting with human-made objects, weapons, and eventually as tensions arose between human and Mysterian, humans declared a war as many began to think they were kidnapped. It was a lengthy battle. Surprisingly, thousands of Mysterians lost their lives and some were cripped from human-made weapons such as guns, bombs, and other weapons of war that human armies have accidentally brought in.

Aftermath

In the end, Mysterians were victorious as Tolune Mysterians were able to regenerate fast and heal others, assisting the war immensely. It was an entire team effort between Mysterian races. The war ended with a large population of humans killed, and they were ordered to kill every human that was still alive. However, some Mysterians protected these humans and hid them for many years. Since then, humans and Mysterians began collaborating on goods and making an impact on the market and Misuteria's advancements. They were eventually caught many years later, but after seeing its impact and advance tech from humans, Mysterians decided to try partner with them until they return home, offering to try fix their mistake in return for humans to help their advancements. It was an unjust partnership, but humans were desperate to leave. Of course, some Mysterians were unhappy with this new relationship, but suffered no punishment for killing humans, so humans still lived on edge.Once the gate has been repaired, some humans returned home, while others stayed back to continue the partnership. Mysterians didn't mind, but in some regions, Mysterians were told to rid of any human still in Misuteria on their land. Humans who returned ended up with vague memories of Misuteria and its life, but still wrote books based on journal entries and whatever else they could remember. The fuzzy memory could be a manipulation tactic from a Kinumorian's magic, who decided humans with vague memory of Misuteria will protect Misuteria in case they ever tried to return and declare another war with more dangerous advanced tech. Humans also had no memories of their day on Earth before waking up in Misuteria, but can have random flashes of their day before Misuteria. Humans who returned to Earth from Misuteria wrote they were often slipping out of consciousness or were literally unconscious before waking up in Misuteria. In the current timeline 200+ years later, humans woke up in Misuteria again but with much less aggression than the last generation. Some were also more educated from the history books, and none wanted to restart that same war. Mysterians simply wanted peace and a partnership, and so did humans. This generation of Mysterians were much less aggressive, viewing humans as history and people who made a big impact on Misuteria. Powerless Mysterians felt more comfortable, too, but were still hated by power-born Mysterians more than they hated humans who were much similar to powerless Mysterians. Although some Mysterians still hate humans, others treat humans with much more hospitality until they return home, aware that this is their mistake again that needs to be fixed. It is a regulation for Mysterians to offer hospitality to humans until the gate is fixed, that this is their mistake to fix and humans took no part in it. In return, humans had to give up human-made weapons such as guns and bombs as Mysterians have declared it "illegal" and a weapon of war that no human or Mysterian should ever have to uphold world balance.Mysterians also have more advanced power as generations grew, making them much more stronger than humans if they tried anything dangerous. This added more hate to powerless Mysterians as they couldn't do anything to stop humans like power-born Mysterians. However, ever since Malloyd Emerald's power accessory invention, humans have access to Mysterian-like power, almost putting humans and Mysterians at an equal. Same for the powerless.

power accessories

Power accessories were created by a child named Malloyd Emerald, who could no longer handle the discrimination after the death of his sister. He wanted change. Malloyd found a way into his missing father's locked shed and found blueprints of what seems to be an invention for an item or clothing that can store power like a power-born Mysterian, with a specific crystal attached. Since then, Mal has been putting pieces together and seeking ways on extracting power, alongside his best friend Keiran Merodach who he met on his first blood. After many attempts and experimenting, Malloyd successfully created his father's power accessory, with ideas of his own, and he hoped this creation and his crimes would spread his message for powerless Mysterians to bring both powerless and power-born at an equal. Unfortunately, this invention broke the Portal Gate as a result and was the cause to bring humans back into Misuteria. Malloyd used the gate's power to form some crystals of his and Keiran's own accessories. After the death of Mal, Floyd Yanderhaze has been continuing the business and found ways to make these accessories use less Mysterian power, instead it became a more 'artificial' version of the original creation. This ended up safer for humans to use, so both humans and powerless Mysterians have access to Mysterian-like powers, even if they are temporary. These power accessories have colour coded levels. All begginners start at blue, before proceeding into their signature colour with a mint green ring, towards progressing into the user's full signature colour or colour of choice once they enter proficiency. If a user commits power thievery or a share, they can overload their body and accessory into corrupt black and white. Black and white levels are dangerous and can interfere with the user's sanity. There is currently no fix to this besides avoiding power thievery and sharing.Power accessories come in a variety of abilities to choose from. Mods are available for users to have their own customised weapon, and are usually given a free trial to test their weapon before purchasing.Users can access the manual too, which can look a bit like a game's menu as Floyd enjoyed some video games.

land where the mains reside

All characters shown in the comic so far reside in Rikuforika, which is also where the Portal Gate was built. A lot of its scattered shards are lost across Rikuforikan land. The main characters, Juniors, and Seniors, live in a small human + Mysterian town named Ayama. It is a fairly new town with new systems, described as "built on a whim". The town is currently ran by a mayor, Lilly Ayamada, but it was previously ran by her mother, Hana, then after her death, Hana's partner, Yori Akihiro ran Ayama. However, after frequent attacks from Yuyuto Phyntom, it was too dangerous to run the town as the attacks were always targeted to Yori, so he gave the responsibility over to Lilly's older sister Ruri Ayamada, whose role was eventually given to Lilly after Ruri's death.

PLANET MAP

Misuteria has floating islands such as Airia and Teo either ran by Mysterian power or formed by unknown causes. Winged Mysterians live in those regions. Teokins aren't winged but live on floating or grounded lands anyway, as they can jump high and lengthy distances without injuring themselves. Meanwhile the rest of the world are on ground. Kalvarus in Kalvaru can live underwater however as they are incapable of drowning.Nortia and Phanto don't have many Mysterians residing there due to the harsh weather conditions, but it is believed "The Council" and "Concepts" reside there, and the trip to those regions is difficult.Mysterian power and appearance depends on what side of their region they live in.

MYSTERIANS

Mysterians are the main intelligent species of Misuteria. About 80% of Mysterians are (and in the eyes of many, SHOULD be) power-born, meaning they have a powerful gift handed down to them that they will use for defence, work, survival, etc. Mysterian power is extremely important in keeping the world running, in human terms, it is like electricity. Powerless Mysterians on the other hand are seen as "free-loaders" and serve no purpose. This often leads to violent discrimination as many powerless Mysterians become practice dummies in schools by power-born Mysterians. A lot of powerless Mysterians end up as teachers/lecturers, maintenance workers, engineers, cleaners, etc. Although regardless of powerless or power-born, some Mysterians still work dead-end jobs. However, ever since Malloyd Emerald's actions, powerless Mysterians are beginning to be seen as "equal" to humans, whom they have to offer hospitality to after "kidnapping" them from their planet again. But they are not the same, never the same. Powerless Mysterian hate is still ongoing, even with Malloyd's power accessory because unlike humans, Mysterians are Misuterian creatures for a reason, Mysterian "gods" or in other words, "concepts", elect the most powerful Mysterians to join "The Council" to keep the world running. Powerless Mysterians have no place in this role, nor can they serve the world well, so they will be seen as "nothing" in the eyes of everyone. Humans on the other hand are completely different in biology and rules. Mysterians understand that difference. In rare cases, some Mysterians can be born with an overload of power due to genetics. This makes controlling their ability much more difficult than normal, and so they would need to control their power via an item/weapon, including power accessories. These Mysterians are often feared and seen as dangerous. However, sometimes they are unhealthily idolised if these Mysterian abilities are beneficial to others. Emeryn Xiong is a big example of this.Mysterians also have a strong ability called a "wind-up", where there's an overload of energy exerted from their body in heightened emotions. Some Mysterians end up with extra patterns and colours in their eyes after their first wind-up, as power spreads throughout their bodies in seek of a new place to store its power. This happens to humans with power accessories as well, but it is not always permanent compared to Mysterians.

Mysterian Anatomy

All Mysterian eyes are colourful and are usually identified with sharp ears and white pupils which indicate power. These eyes can also glow in the dark and when Mysterians are using their abilities, but it's not always as visible in the day time. These pupils can also come oval or diamond shape based on genetics. Depending on region, some Mysterians don't have triangular ears, but instead tufts of hair with earholes, acting as their ears. These traits are only visible in Kinumorians and Teokins.

Power-born mysterian eyes

Powerless mysterian eyes

mysterian hearts

Mysterian heart, unlike humans, are in the center above their chest. It's lemon shaped and extremely hot to the touch for power-born Mysterians, whereas powerless Mysterians tend to be warmer. Their hearts pump both blood and power throughout their body, and power basically functions like a second blood. Humans with power accessories also go through a similar process, where their power runs through their body, but it's not as intense as a Mysterian's. All Mysterians have a heart like this, and power can be stored in other parts of their body such as horns and wings.

Types of mysterians

Characters below are Mysterians who currently reside in Rikuforika only, more on Misuterian regions are yet to be shown.

Rikuforika / rikuforikans

Rikuforikans: Mysterians are usually power-born with abilities ranging from illusion (extremely rare), energy, teleportation, but they cannot be born with healing, flying, or fire abilities. They are well known for transporting goods and international partnerships and therefore have a diverse range of Mysterians residing.

Airia / Airians

Airians: Born with flying, chemical, and light manipulation abilities. They spend most of their time flying than on ground unless necessary. Wingless Airians are considered "powerless" and are usually rejected by their country. They also look less like Airians and more like Teokins, which Airians hate to see. Airians are easily identified by wings and "folded wings" sticking out of their head.

Teo / Teokins

Teokins: They can barely fly, but can jump very high and far distances with little trouble. They are usually born with lightning and heat abilities. Although Airia and Teo had a long history of partnerships together, they have tensions rising and some are known to hate each other. They can be identified by colour parted hair and lack of triangular ears. Their irises tend to be multi-coloured in specific shade gradients as well. Teokin's ears are also on the top or sides of their heads like hair fluff.

(Although these two are not Teokin, they look most like them. Kaen is also half-Teokin, so she has a specific colour coded hairstyle and "hair tuft ears" on the sides of her head.)

Kinumoro / Kinumorians

Kinumorians: They live closest to Nortia and therefore seen as "superior" for being so close to the Council. They are also commonly born with very powerful abilities which involve psychological and physical manipulation of the body. However, their healing can be poor, making them more attacking than defensive like other regions. Horned Kinumorians are usually seen as the most powerful, due to how much power is stored in it, although they are extremely sensitive. They are easily identified with white hair, dark ringed pupils and white ears like a horned Owl's, while horned Kinumorians have purple and lavender coloured horns usually curving inwards. The taller and largest horns store the most power.

Kanaria / Kanarians

Kanarian: Kanarians are all horned Mysterians whose horns change shape depending on how they shed their horns during adolescence. The shape of their horns are considered a beauty standard and display of power. The least unique and more symmetrical horns are usually seen as weak and average. Kanarians project their power onto magical swords, and they usually possess advanced teleportation abilities only, but rely heavy on weaponry. They have a similar iris look to Rikuforikans, but Kanarians have unique shaped horns in different shades of purple and sometimes scarlet.

Clivlilia / Clivilians

Clivilian: Usually possess fire abilities that they too rely heavily on projecting their power in weapons as these Mysterians are prone to being born with uncontrollable powers. They are very active and as fast as Airians and Teokins in speed, if not faster. Clivillians and Kanarians have rising tensions because Clivilia Ironically tends to be cold but very dry, so entering can be dangerous as fire is everywhere to keep everyone warm, whereas Kanaria is much more warmer and humid. Kanarians are happy, but Clivilians wants a trade. Their hair comes in vibrant shades of brown-orange and are often curled or wavy.

Some of these traits don't apply much to Kaen as she's half Clivilian half Teokin.

Kalvaru / Kalvarus

Kalvaru: Kalvarus are more oceanic in their abilities, and those in the southern regions tend to possess more ice/colder water manipulation abilities, meanwhile others would possess heat or both if they live in the middle regions. Not all water is pure. Some Kalvarus also tried forcing electric powers on each other for more strength. Their hair comes in shades of blue, but those with electric abilities have sharper shapes of yellow and doesn't flow naturally like hair in water. Kalvaru hair tend to be more wavy, too.

Tolune / Tolunes

Tolune: Tolunes are said to be the first life on Misuteria and those who provided it, and are one of the most respected race in the world for not only their role, but also their power and strength. Their abilities are as strong as Kinumorians, but Kinumorians evoke more fear. Tolunes are very peaceful, but life and death is in their hands. Unfortunately, some Tolunes live shorter lives with each revival. They often have leaves or flowers sticking out of their body, and they are known to heal and remove poison. Powerless Tolunes are capable of this ability, too.

Phanto / Phantoms

Phanto: Phanto is a region in the south of Misuteria, whereas Phantoms are Mysterians of any race who lives in Phanto, or anywhere else in the world with high radiation or power leakage. As a result for being in such dangerous living conditions, their eye colour becomes duller, with their irises a more duller shade instead of white. They also become more quiet and reserved, but play a huge part in the world as they keep power running, prevent dangerous leakages, and also trade agricultural goods for medicinal purposes, despite the environments they were grown in (they are surprisingly very beneficial). Phantoms can be very aggressive if agitated, and their abilities become very dangerous after living in danger zone areas for so long. Half Phantoms exist too, where Mysterians spend equal amounts of time in and away danger zone areas. Their personalities don't change as much, but their abilities are still stronger than any other Mysterian. They can be mistakened for "Phyntoms", but the difference is Phantoms are more reserved, whereas Phyntoms are more aggressive. Phyntom eyes are also always shades of grey, rather than a dull shade of colour.

Phyntoms

Phyntoms: Phyntoms are Mysterians who are under the control of Yuyuto Phyntom, who alters their minds to a certain goal. Their eyes are always grey, with dark grey pupils rather than white like a regular Mysterian. When they are snapped out of Yuyuto's influence, they die. Currently, their main goal is to eradicate humans as part of Yuyuto's goals, as well as search around Misuteria for his daughters. This involves spying and invading towns, Ayama being a frequent victim. Sometimes, Yuyuto can accidentally make half-Phyntoms, where they retain their personality and have strengthened powers, but are not influenced by Yuyuto's control. It's unknown how this happens. All Phyntoms retain at least half of their personalities, but their mindsets are always locked on the goal given by Yuyuto, which can make them emotionless at times. New Phyntoms can also be intelligent at times, making them easy to kill.Phyntoms are considered pests all around Misuteria, and are frequently killed by whoever they harass. Although these Mysterians are killing innocent lives, some Mysterians assume Phyntoms are like "zombies", where they are already dead and just under the control of Yuyuto.Sometimes, they wear masks or coloured contact lenses to mask their identity.

Yin Todd is the main protagonist of the comic, alongside his childhood friend Yang Ai. He has trouble expressing his emotions, but is shown to open up slowly as he grows closer to his new friends. He is a professional violinist and archer, although his time in archery was rather abusive for unknown reasons to him. His abusive treatment throughout childhood were one of the main causes of his closed-off personality. He is insecure of his heterochromia and is also rather shy and easily embarrassed, but can have a sharp tongue sometimes. Todd also has a massive sweet tooth and prone to "sugar highs".He has a rough relationship with Yang, who they share a mutual hatred of one another. Although they are very close, they've been through multiple traumatic moments together that broke their close bond throughout the 11 years of knowing each other. Despite their mess, they both consider each other very close and even woke up in Misuteria together for unknown reasons. Todd feels extreme guilt for whatever went wrong between him and Yang, and believes they should never be friends again.WEAPON/POWER:
Todd utilises his archery skills in fights with his bow and arrow. He is able to shoot very fast with extreme precision, even in obscure poses. Sometimes his perfectionism gets to him and leaves him easily distracted.

YANG AI

----
NAME: Yángduan Ai (Yang)
AGE: 15-16
GENDER: Male
ETHNICITY: Chinese
SPECIES: Human
HEIGHT: 140cm (4'5)

Yang woke up in Misuteria at 15, and has no clue what happened before his arrival. He joined the second/current generation of Juniors at 15.

Yang Ai is the main protagonist of the comic, alongside his childhood friend Yin Todd. He is short-tempered and rough, but behind the aggressive personality is someone truly compassionate but naive. Yang is blunt and unafraid to share his thoughts, but tends to struggle at his vulnerabilities, only choosing to be open to Todd and sometimes Miaojin. Yang loves keeping his brain busy; he enjoys art and reading, and also has a coffee addiction which he grew a tolerance to. He doesn't know much about his family, and his older brother Lin Ai drugged him with a substance called the 'Blood Moon Drug' (BMD) to protect Yang from harm and strengthen him. Yang is currently dealing with its side effects and wishes to cause no harm on anybody once the drug completely activates during Misuteria's next blood moon.Yang suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was 11 which he developed dissociative amnesia. This made him susceptible to lies as his brother and friends tried to take advantage of his close friendship with Yin Todd, which their sweet bond eventually broke off into mutual hatred in their teenage years. Despite their mess, they both consider each other very close and even woke up in Misuteria together for unknown reasons. Yang believes they should never be friends, but that doesn't stop him from looking out for Todd.WEAPON/POWER:
Yang prefers to fight close ranged and with his legs. He was taught martial arts but doesn't utilise it well in battle, having forgotten most concepts. Yang currently wields claws on his hands, perfect for his feral behaviour.

AKIRA YUKI

----
NAME: Akira Yuki
AGE: 14-15
GENDER: Female
ETHNICITY: Japanese
SPECIES: Human
HEIGHT: 145cm (4'7)
BIRTHDAY: 30th October
----
Akira woke up and joined the second/current generation of Juniors when she was 11-12.

Akira Yuki is one of the main protagonists of the comic. She was the first human to have ever joined the Juniors, and is considered "the first" to wake up in the planet out of the bunch at the age of 11-12. Akira is very awkward but cheeky; she loves cracking puns and hanging out with her friends whenever she gets the chance, whether it's gaming, cooking, or something completely boring, she is open to anything as long as she's around people. Connection is incredibly important to her as she lacked any special connection during her childhood, having been born with a weak body that left her hospitalised often and having to repeat classes in school. She did make one close friend in school, Seiji Masamune, which she reunited with in Misuteria soon after. She is prone to jealousy and overwhelms her brain whenever her body refuses to work. Even with advanced medication and treatment in Misuteria, her body can still shut down at any moment, so she lives on edge constantly. Things like games, friendship, and trashy movies keep her happy amongst the pain. Although Akira doesn't know how she woke up in Misuteria, from the things she learned of its history, she can only assume she knocked herself out unconscious as she woke up still in a mix of her hospital and casual clothes.Despite her disability, Akira tries her best to "be normal", which involves overexerting her body in fights. Early on, her military parents taught Akira how to use guns if she ever needed to defend herself from their rough neighbourhood, and she brought this skill into Misuteria despite the military weapon ban, she projects it into her power accessory. Akira was rather emotionless when she first woke up in Misuteria, and was often picked on by Floyd Yanderhaze, who despised humans that time. Akira was unafraid of harming people and knowing her anger until an accident that left her using much weaker weapons to fight, afraid to harm someone close again.WEAPON/POWER:
Akira currently uses a light fan that transforms into a glock, but otherwise can shoot in both mid-long range distances, making it a versatile weapon of choice. She also possesses a wide range of military weapons she found early in her time at Misuteria, which she keeps hidden under Lilly and Ruri's word. She has another gun that she used to use frequently. It is inspired by the HK USP 45 and comes with a safety mode. It works exactly as a gun does, but she refuses to use it not because of its legal use, but in fear of killing someone again. Her gun-fan is made to not penetrate the body, but leave nasty scars instead. Akira can also heal others, but barely.

FLOYD YANDERHAZE

----
NAME: Floyd Yanderhaze
AGE: 16
GENDER: Male
ETHNICITY: Rikuforikan
SPECIES: Mysterian
HEIGHT: 176cm (5'7)
BIRTHDAY: 19th January
----
Floyd joined the second/current generation of Juniors at 12 or 13.

Floyd Yanderhaze is one of the main protagonists of the comic. He is a powerless Mysterian who struggles at making friends and jokes tend to fly over his head. Despite having the "mind of an inventor", he can be incredibly dull and overreactive, but he cares more for others than himself, yet also worries a lot about his own image and how others perceive him. He enjoys the company of his friends and is still getting used to new dynamics. Floyd tends to be closed off and refuses to share anything regarding his past and family life, besides being raised in a poorly ruled village, Kikinu. Floyd also struggles at "letting people go" but so badly craves change, causing him to make irrational decisions and damage other friendships. He moved to Ayama when he was 12 and was "raised" by Lilly and Ruri Ayamada ever since. He loves his new life but can't help but live on edge in fear of abandonment. He loves his friends deeply, but fusses too much on himself to get any closer to them. For whatever reason, Floyd tends to be sadistic and very violent on his enemies.Floyd suffered from harassment for being powerless, and going out sometimes left him on edge despite telling himself he's grown used to it. Some time after humans came flooding in again, Floyd initially despised them, and even grew envious at how better treated they were than powerless Mysterians, despite the both of them being powerless. This resulted in him picking on Akira when she was new, and the two developed a hateful relationship, which eventually got better as years went on and the two finally saw each other eye to eye. Floyd currently runs a store that sells Power Accessories, alongside his friend/colleague, KoriMiki Miko. Floyd also has horrible cooking skills and always burns his food or make incomprehensible slop.WEAPON/POWER:
Floyd currently uses an expandable staff to fight. It also comes with an electric zapper which he doesn't use often, and a stinger full of Datura Metel poison, a human-brought substance that found to have a high killing rate on Mysterians than humans. If Floyd is not careful, he could die within 5 minutes or less. His weapon with the stinger mode activated can turn into a sword or spear of some sort. Floyd is also able to teleport short distances, called a "blink", but in excessive use, there is a limit/cooldown.

JUNIORS - (LILLY AYAMADA'S RESIDENTS)

The Juniors are a group of young teens working under Lilly Ayamada to help protect the town! Each of them has their own partner who they do town and/or guard duty with while also being roommates in the dormitory. Depending on age or experience, they can be promoted as a Senior, although most of the time, members become a Senior after turning 18.Lilly and her residents are also training others for a Junior position, and at some point, all Juniors who are 18 will automatically be promoted to a Senior to leave room for the next generation of Juniors. Due to a diverse range of age (14-17), it may take 3-4 years for each member to turn 18 to move to Seniority, with these new Seniors being aged 18-20 by the time of their promotion.Compared to the current generation of Seniors who joined the Juniors aged 13-17, some members of this second generation of Juniors joined at extremely young ages (from 11 years old), as Ruri wanted to take care of troubled children and offer them a better but stronger life.

The Juniors also have a pet who they share with the Seniors. Her name is Koano, and although small, her body and voice is that of a terrifying bodyguard. She acts not only as a house pet, but a guard for Ayama's residents, and can act in aggression if needed.

BIRTHDAY: 23rd of October
----
Yang woke up in Misuteria at 15, and has no clue what happened before his arrival.

KORIMIKI MIKO

----
NAME: KoriMiki Miko
AGE: 16
GENDER: Male
ETHNICITY: Kalvaru
SPECIES: Mysterian
HEIGHT: 180cm (5'9)
BIRTHDAY: 23rd August
----
Kori joined the second/current generation of Juniors when he was 11.

KoriMiki Miko (Kori) is a Junior under Lilly Ayamada's residency. He is a unique Kalvaru who possesses both water and electric abilities and claims to be proud of it, but dislikes how it all came to be. Kori loves cracking jokes and getting into people's space sometimes, but he is also sensitive to criticism and tends to overreact by accidentally zapping people. He loves cooking and is one of the best and main chefs of the house, and he is also often called to run electric maintenance in the house. Kori is quite prideful and loves teasing his friends, especially Alex. He and Niko moved to Ayama after their father sent them off to someplace safer after Kori's incident while Kori was 11, and Niko was 12.Kori hates feeling controlled, and sometimes despises his jobs for his lack of freedom, especially under his overprotective sister who doesn't trust Kori to be alone. Kori got his electric abilities when he was younger after being left alone at home while Niko was at work. His father's colleagues came and offered to improve Kori's family's life situation by granting him electrical abilities to make him stronger and more idolised by the community. Kori joined them and was missing for some time, putting all his trust in hopes they will save the family. This all happened under Niko and their father's noses. Kori was experimented on and received electrical abilities as a result. Niko finally found him unconscious after sniffing out clues, and immediately killed everyone responsible, although by accident.WEAPON/POWER:
Kori can use either water or electricity separately, but often he would combine the two effectively. He uses his arms to land attacks, and his abilities wrap around his arms like a drill. Sometimes, he transfers electricity on conductible objects, but he prefers to be over the top. Water and electricity can come out anywhere on his body, and has the ability to make his entire body electrical.

NIKOMIKO MIKI

----
NAME: NikoMiko Miki
AGE: 17
GENDER: Female
ETHNICITY: Kalvaru
SPECIES: Mysterian
HEIGHT: 157cm (5'2)
BIRTHDAY: 2nd March
----
Niko joined the second/current generation of Juniors when she was 12.

NikoMiko Miki (Niko) is a Junior under Lilly Ayamada's residency, and the oldest of the group. She is an ice Kalvaru who was born with an overload of energy, causing her to lose control of her own abilities. She currently controls it with her wand that she keeps in her bun, but sometimes it is not enough and she would have ice prongs stick out of her head when she's heated. She admires everyone (especially her Seniors) greatly, and is quick to follow orders. She tries to look out for everyone and be the word of reason. She is easily flustered and can be coddling. Unlike her little brother Kori, she is not that great of a cook and tends to lose track of time, resulting in burnt meals (although not as bad as Floyd's). Playing with ice and/or snow would be dangerous with Niko, as she might accidentally freeze something, or her friend, entirely. Although she has the skill and experience of a Senior, she chooses to stay with the Juniors to keep an eye on Kori, making sure her brother is safe. She also needs to come to terms with her own abilities, otherwise she will be too dangerous to be a Senior and have the roles of one. Niko loves figure skating, but she's scared to do it in public spaces in fear her powers might act up. Niko and Kori moved to Ayama after their father sent them off to someplace safer after Kori's incident while Kori was 11, and Niko was 12.Niko used to live in a poor household, and spent most of her younger years working to keep the family running, leaving Kori alone at home most of the time as their father would also be at work. Niko knows nothing of her mother, as she died while Niko was very young. Niko and Kori were also not very close to their father as he was always away, so it was a very lonely household. When Niko found her brother at an unknown building unconscious, her Windup activated and killed everyone except her and Kori in the building. Ever since, she tries to keep a close eye on Kori and refuses to leave Kori alone unless he's with someone or she's with him. She tries not to be too controlling about it, so she's not as open in public or around their friends.WEAPON/POWER:
Niko can eject ice particles from her hands, but they often come out uncontrollably, so she uses her wand instead. She can form ice blocks and manipulate the size and sharpness of any of them, as well as freeze any object or opponent. In heightened emotions, or her "Windup" she considers, her icicles consume a building or land at extreme speeds, piercing anyone in the way with no mercy. Despite how brutal powerful her abilities are, she is afraid to use this Windup around her close ones in fear they'll get hurt.

MIAOJIN MOFA

----
NAME: Miaojin Mofa
AGE: 15-16
GENDER: Female
ETHNICITY: Chinese
SPECIES: Human
HEIGHT: 155cm (5'1)
BIRTHDAY: 31st March
----
Miaojin mysteriously woke up in Misuteria when she was 13, and can only guess she arrived because of something reckless she did that rendered her unconscious. She joined the second/current generation of Juniors at 13.

Miaojin is a Junior under Lilly Ayamada's residency, and the second human to have joined the Juniors after Akira. Miaojin is also the first human to master her Windup in the Juniors during her exam, though she doesn't know how she mastered it so early during her time in Misuteria, Akira is envious of her for this reason. Miaojin is a big risk taker and thrill-seeker, she always find ways to put herself in danger and explore after having been trapped in her home by her strict alcoholic mother back on Earth. Miaojin is also very compassionate and brave, willing to put her life at risk to save people from dangerous situations, including almost getting ran over on the tracks to save someone, and fighting for a victim of bullying, despite coming out beaten. She was eventually taught martial arts by her childhood friends Yang Ai and Yin Todd, and have been training to become stronger ever since, given the time she had. Miaojin enjoys horror movies and hiking, and is one to host social events with her friends. Although she is very rebellious, she understands her actions put her life in danger and sometimes others, and tries to cherish her time together.Miaojin is childhood friends with Yang and Todd and met early in their childhood. However, due to her strict mother and the boys' studies in Australia, they didn't get to spend much time together. Eventually, Miaojin had to move provinces and lost contact ever since. Miaojin is unaware of what happened between Yang and Todd as they refuse to speak about it, but she tries her best to reconnect anyway. She hates conflict and confrontations as she tries to be accepting of everyone, which often leads to thinking she's not enough and if she's hated.WEAPON/POWER:
Miaojin uses magical glyphs to get her around, followed by a dagger. Her glyphs help boost her in high speeds, going fast enough to lose track of her body. If she's not careful enough, she can break her bones. She has a high pain tolerance and will keep fighting regardless.

Emilio Kleine Puppe

----
NAME: Emilio Kleine Puppe
AGE: 16
GENDER: Non-binary
ETHNICITY: Tolune (Soul/Original body), Rikuforikan (Doll body)
SPECIES: Mysterian + Doll
HEIGHT: 161cm (5'2)
BIRTHDAY: 10th November
----
Emeryn joined the second/current generation of Juniors when she was 11. Emilio joined when they were 14, which was also the age of Emeryn's death.

Emilio is a Junior under Lilly Ayamada's residency, and Alexander Xiong's sibling. Emilio is physically a doll created by Emeryn Xiong, the twin sister of Alexander Xiong. Emilio was created by Emeryn to control her powers, as she was a Mysterian who was unable to do so, but instead of being feared for danger, she was unhealthily idolised as her powers were more euphoric and beneficial than anything. This made her spiral and detest her body and powers greatly, wishing she could become her doll (Emilio) instead. She designed Emilio to look completely different to her, so that if there was ever a chance she could become one with Emilio, she will be left alone. She was hyperfixated on Emilio for the longest time and refused to spend time outside or with friends, unless Alex and Niko encouraged her. She was also afraid of being alone in fear people will chase her again, which for that reason made her more shut in as she was afraid to go outside. Emeryn started opening up more when Akira joined, wanting to make more friends and understand humans, although was hard to achieve as Akira was very shy, and Emeryn was still hyperfixated on her doll. Emeryn and her brother moved in and lived in Ayama for some time while it was still new, and only joined the Juniors at 11 after being recruited by Ruri Ayamada for seeing their potential and help in the town. Emeryn took it as her mayor offering her safety from the public, and thus is very loyal to her and Lilly.A horrible fight broke out between Ruri Ayamada and Yuyuto Phyntom, and Ruri's shockwave destroyed Alex and Emeryn's old home as they were told to evacuate there during the fight. Emeryn lost her head, but her brother tried his best to save her and bind Emeryn's soul to her doll as she wished for. Alex ended up begging Ruri to help, hoping she as a Kinumorian would be able to do such a thing. Emeryn's soul ended up binding to her doll, and now goes by Emilio rather than Emeryn, fully immersed in leaving her old life behind. Now, Emilio's head often falls off and explodes like a bomb if bounced on the ground 3 times, like a curse of her death. Losing her head will kill her completely, which Alex has repeatedly revived her each time. Emilio was designed to be androgynous, and therefore goes by any pronouns.WEAPON/POWER:
His abilities are extremely different to Emeryn's, where he can control puppets and manipulate string, and is the only Mysterian who can do such a thing. As a doll, Emilio can no longer eat, sleep, or feel. Emilio is quite literally a flexible yet fragile doll, but their soul is happy regardless.

Alexander Xiong

----
NAME: Alexander Xiong
AGE: 16
GENDER: Male
ETHNICITY: Tolune
SPECIES: Mysterian
HEIGHT: 161cm (5'2)
BIRTHDAY: 10th November
----
Alex joined the second/current generation of Juniors when he was 11.

Alexander (Alex) is a Junior under Lilly Ayamada's residency, and Emeryn Xiong/Emilio's sibling. He is a Tolune whose abilities specialise in healing and plant manipulation, but he also has life and death in the palm of his hands thanks to his Windup. The two leaves on top of his head can remove poison, and using both leaves can revive someone. However, each revival cuts his life shorter, and it takes months for his leaves to grow back. He can be uptight for this reason, having to use his leaves to revive Emilio and to remove poison from a reckless Floyd, while also dealing with everyone else's reckless behaviour in battle. Alex can be reserved and shy, but can also behave like a mother hen with a short temper. The food Alex cooks tends to be bitter or spicy, as he wants everyone to stay healthy and strong as fighters. Alex usually tends to the garden with help from Kori, and is in charge of exchanging goods with the Phantoms nearby alongside one of his Seniors, Tsubasa. Alex and his sibling moved in and lived in Ayama for some time while it was still new, and only joined the Juniors at 11 after being recruited by Ruri Ayamada for seeing their potential and help in the town. Alex and Emeryn were well respected for their powers, and thus joined Lilly and Ruri in defending the town. After the traumatic event of his twin sibling's death, Alex couldn't bare to look at himself or Emilio, despite her survival. The trauma of placing his sister's heart into her doll will never leave him. Alex shut himself in his room for months, and only left whenever he needed to. The only person he ever spoke to this time was Kori, who are roommates, although their conversations were much shorter than usual. Alex eventually overcame his dread and tried to talk to Emilio again, after multiple conversations with Kori and Lilly. Ruri has also been killed during this time, so it was a time of grief for everyone. To this day, both siblings refuse to speak of that event unless needed to, and Alex realised he can still love his sibling without hating himself everytime, but there are still things both Alex and Emilio are unable to overcome, they're on good terms, but have never healed. Yang and Todd so far has been their main distraction, even though two years has passed since that event.WEAPON/POWER:
Alex is able to bend nearby plants and soil at his own will; he can create vines and branches, and can manipulate his limbs to become wooden. His healing zone surrounds his body, meaning he can heal anyone in close proximity. Two leaves revive a life, and one leaf removes poison. His Windup is an instant death to his opponent.

SENIORS - (LILLY AYAMADA'S RESIDENTS)

The Seniors work the same as Juniors but with bigger and heavier responsibilities. The Seniors are a group of young adults working under Lilly Ayamada to help protect the town! They often work nightshifts which also lead towards midnight. They also have more skill and experience in what they do and mentor their Juniors and those training to join the Juniors. Once they all turn 20-23, or the Juniors have all turned 18, they may leave the town or continue working under Lilly at a different facility (or retire), as the current Juniors will soon take their place.Due to the diverse age range, it may take 3-4 years for this group of Seniors to retire. Most seniors retire at 22 years old. These characters were the first generation of Juniors, before the idea of Seniors even existed. They were made to serve the town, initially as punishment for Tsubasa, Tsukuro, and Kaen's actions, which eventually turned into redemption and offering a place to stay in return of using their skills to defend the town, especially when humans started flooding in like Lilith and Bokaru. As soon as Ruri started recruiting members aged as young as 11, she decided to split the current Juniors to make them "Seniors", to make room for the new generation of Juniors with the new intention of offering troubled kids a place to stay, in return they work hard to serve the town.Ever since Ruri's passing, Lilly has decided to keep this system going, but is now recruiting anyone with potential/interest in protecting the town, rather than looking for troubled kids specifically.

She is hot-headed and stubborn, and struggles at understanding tone, mixing up negative words with something positive. She is also prideful of her job, and even run "Phyntom checks", where she tests new members and suspicious people if they are Phyntoms. Kaen is brash and sometimes irrational, but she has a big heart and cares for her friends and Juniors deeply. Kaen was raised in Kikinu village, a poorly ruled town where crimes were frequent. She was an orphan and had to work dead-end jobs instead of being cared for as a child she was. She met a kind Kinumorian named Kuro that time, and he was the only Mysterian who uttered a word at her, but since then the two have lost contact after Kaen accidentally lit the village on fire, but concluded they all deserved it. Kaen has also developed bad trust issues, and took multiple months-a year to grow comfortable with the current generation of Seniors. She is still rough on the Juniors, but believes in their potential and strength. Kaen can joke around and mess with her friends sometimes as a way to abuse her newfound freedom. She becomes sulky when she fails to do her job well, and even scared. She tends to keep to herself at times, but usually she would be dragged around to places by Tsubasa and Bokaru.WEAPON/POWER:
Kaen projects her flames in her gauntlets, and she often controls them like a whip. If she's not careful, she can set an entire town ablaze, and even her opponent's entire body.

Lilith Gardenia

----
NAME: Lilith Gardenia
AGE: 18/19(?)
GENDER: Female
ETHNICITY: Australian
SPECIES: Human
HEIGHT: 172cm (5'6)
BIRTHDAY: 30th July
----
Lilith joined the first generation of Juniors at 16 before shifting into Seniority while still 16. Lilith currently mentors Floyd.

Lilith is a Senior under Lilly Ayamada's residency. She is the first human to join the first and current generation of Seniors. She was swept up into Misuteria during her holiday in East Asia at 16, and she claims to have been in the middle of joining the Australian Military, but now she believes her current job is perfect for her. Throughout her teens she tried pursuing multiple subjects and online courses regardless of age, and because she has done so much in her life, she may be slightly older than was mistakenly confirmed on her ID card, although her age is not much different from 18-19. Lilith has a very curious mind and is obsessed with studying life in Misuteria. She constantly runs experiments in her downstairs lab and interacts with the Phantoms who live at a crater Ruri has made during her fight with Yuyuto. For her eye of science and medicine, Yang, Todd, and Alex often go to her for advice regarding Yang's BMD drug situation.Lilith cares a great amount for the town, and she is often approached by Lilly to keep a watch on the town while she's away, according to Lilith's experiences. Lilith has made it aware to Lilly that her age is wrong, and Lilly has since then changed her age. She is not much older than the rest of the Seniors who firmly believe she's 18, but is embarrassed to confess the mistake due to everyone calling her childish. Lilith surprisingly has a large network as she often attends social events whenever possible. Lilith currently mentors Floyd, and even gave him the idea of making a stinger on his staff. She seems incredibly chill on his sadistic tendencies, since they are usually acted on enemies.WEAPON/POWER:
Lilith wields a large scythe that can slice through objects and enemies. Her scythe is full of poison stronger than Datura Metel, a recipe of her own that she keeps hidden to prevent harm on others. She also has the ability to teleport, and often uses her cloak for that.

Otonii Bokaru

----
NAME: Otonii Bokaru
AGE: 18-19
GENDER: Female
ETHNICITY: Japanese
SPECIES: Human
HEIGHT: 170cm (5'5)
BIRTHDAY: 6th September

Bokaru joined the first generation of Juniors alongside Kaen, Lilith, Tsukuro, and Tsubasa, at 15, before moving on to Seniority with the others while still 15. Bokaru currently mentors Miaojin and Kori.

Bokaru is a Senior under Lilly Ayamada's residency. She is the second and last human to join the first and current generation of Seniors. She has a knack for music and is naive, as she was easy to befriend and recruit Karatana Manasume to join the Seniors, unbeknown she was a Hollow Casket member. Bokaru dreamed of becoming a DJ, but realised large crowds with blasting music and screaming in her ear wasn't doable and gave her immense stress after each event. She was born and raised in Australia and was a young music producer and violinist throughout her teenage years, but has retired to focus on her early University studies, thinking of pursuing a different career instead. On a trip to Japan, she got swept up in the fog and woke up in Misuteria, and had to repeat the living alone cycle all over again until she found Ayama. On Earth, Bokaru was actually kicked out of her home before she could graduate from her course at the very special age of 15 in Australia, and had to deal with adult responsibilities so early in her life for the rest of the year until she awoke in Misuteria, and to this day she considered herself an adult, despite only being 15 that time. She is unsure of how she feels now that her actual adult responsibility is ensuring the safety of thousands of people, but she has a thing to do, money, and away from toxic parents who wished she continued her music career, so she's happy.Bokaru loves to wear headphones wherever she goes, and most of the time it's to block noise rather than play music, but she tries to take them off around people as to not seem rude, despite how overstimulating things can get. Bokaru also loves drinking.WEAPON/POWER:
Bokaru's main abilities is sound manipulation and soundwaves, which she usually projects from her hands or her weapon shaped as a speaker. The headphones help block out the sounds immensely, while her opponents suffer. She also has the potential to make someone temporarily deaf.

Tsukuro Hikari

----
NAME: Tsukuro Hikari
AGE: 18-19
GENDER: Male
ETHNICITY: Airian
SPECIES: Mysterian
HEIGHT: 180cm (5'9)
BIRTHDAY: 13th February
----
Tsukuro was the first to join the first generation of Juniors at the age of 14, months after he was banished from Airia. Tsukuro currently mentors Alex and Akira.

Tsukuro is a Senior under Lilly Ayamada's residency, and Tsubasa's older brother. He was born and raised in Airia and used to have large beautiful wings. Tsukuro's parents were considered powerful that time, so Tsukuro and his brother were well respected, until Tsukuro lost his wings to what assumes to be a Rikuforikan and was banished from Airia alongside his brother at 14, as he was deemed "powerless", despite only losing 40% of his power. Tsukuro was once prideful, but has now become stoic and strict. He is very closed-off and doesn't express himself very well. He also firmly believes Mal was the one who stole his wings, as power thievery back then became common thanks to Mal. Airians were responsible for stealing his wings, but were under the control of Dufroid, who Tsukuro vaguely spotted before passing out. He assumes it was an order from Malloyd Emerald, and therefore blames the attack entirely on him, and even Floyd who he suspects is Mal. Like Kaen, Tsukuro can say mean things without rude intention. He became very bitter after the loss of his wings, as it quite literally ruined both his and his younger brother's lives, before they joined Ruri's early system of Juniors and Seniors when Tsukuro was 14. As punishment for his and Tsubasa's crimes, they both helped build the building the Juniors and Seniors currently reside in, and was the very first generation of Juniors. Tsukuro and his brother were con-artists and reckless menaces in Rikuforika, but eventually bored themselves out and tried helping others instead, earning attention and forgiveness from Ruri Ayamada, the mayor of Ayama at that time.Although stubborn, Tsukuro can take accountability and tries to leave things in the past, but he can't help but feel unfulfilled and want revenge on who hurt his family. During the Junior's heist to the Hollow Casket, Tsukuro refused to join and tried to persuade Floyd to not endanger himself and everyone, even though he could join and supervise them, even seek revenge on the Dufroid. He was afraid of turning everything messy if he ever laid his eyes on Dufroid.WEAPON/POWER:
Tsukuro has the ability to eradicate certain elements, including poison, meaning he is one of the rarest Mysterians to be immune to it, and was considered well respected, as he was able to help others in need. With wings, he was able to fly and shield himself and those around him, but ever since he lost them, he became defenseless. Now, Tsukuro can only dispel certain elements with his flame that wraps around his arms, which can be incredibly bright, and he uses it to launch himself long distances as if flying.

Tsubasa Hikari

----
NAME: Tsubasa Hikari
AGE: 17
GENDER: Male
ETHNICITY: Airian
SPECIES: Mysterian
HEIGHT: 171cm (5'6)
BIRTHDAY: 8th January
----
Tsubasa was the first to join the first generation of Juniors at the age of 12, a year after he was banished from Airia. Tsubasa currently mentors Emilio.

Tsubasa is a Senior under Lilly Ayamada's residency, and Tsukuro's younger brother. He was born and raised in Airia and helped Tsukuro protect the community, given they both had strong and beneficial powers. He was well respected and is the offspring of powerful parents. However, since the loss of Tsukuro's wings and failure to protect, he was banished alongside Tsukuro at 12 years old, but he was fine as he hated how Airian's ruled everything, though he hated the aftermath of the banishment and finding ways to survive. It was Tsubasa's idea to resort to conman crimes, and Tsukuro simply followed along out of bitterness over what happened. During his time in Ayama, Tsubasa was extremely put off by how horrible the lights in town worked, despite how new Ayama was that time. He spent most of his days trying to turn lights on and accidentally activated his Windup for the first time, which ended up repairing the entire light system in Ayama. Both Tsubasa and Tsukuro were eventually earned forgiveness for their crimes due to their sudden change of heart that wanted to service the town rather than steal. As punishment for his and Tsukuro's crimes, they both helped build the building the Juniors and Seniors currently reside in, and was the very first generation of Juniors. He joined the first generation of Juniors at 12, and became a Senior alongside Tsukuro, Kaen, Bokaru, and Lilith, the next year. Tsubasa currently mentors Emilio, although they're known to slack during lessons. Ever since Tsubasa repaired the lights, the town now experiences "blackouts" when under threat, and some assume the lights in Ayama are connected to Tsubasa's powers, meaning his defence mechanism causes the blackouts to happen, but he has no idea how to fix it.During his time on Airia, and the attack on Tsukuro, Tsubasa was unable to protect Tsukuro as he was quick to aim for Dufroid first, who ended up fighting far away from the scene, while the Airians Dufroid "hypnotised", were already tearing at Tsukuro before he could shield himself. Back then, Tsubasa was still new to his abilities as Mysterian power blooms during ages 9-14, and confused himself during his very first challenging battle against someone just a year older than him. He's been wanting a rematch ever since.WEAPON/POWER:
Tsubasa has light manipulation abilities and can even move at lightning speed with the help of his wings. He can also project light beams and arrows that move in extreme speeds and precision, but he has yet to master it.
